  • How to start charging at EvGuru charging station?
    1st, Download the EvGuru App from Apple App Store or Android Play Store. App Store: https://apps.apple.com/my/app/evguru/id6443828603 2nd, Register in the app and verify your account via email. then log in. 3rd, Add a credit or debit card as a payment method in the app. 4th, Connect the EV charging station to your EV with your charging cable 5th, Scan the QR code on the charger to find the station in the app 6th. Click “Start Session” to start charging
  • Is there a list of charging stations?
    A list of charging stations can be found on the EvGuru mobile app on iOS and Android.
  • How much does EvGuru charge for AC charging?
    Charging fee: It varies across different charging stations. The price is determined by various factors such as electricity tariff, installation fees, EV Chargers, the profit of the host, etc.
  • What do I need to prepare to use a charging station?
    You will need an EvGuru app account and a compatible charging cable or adapter, depending on the type of charging station and your vehicle model.
  • What if the entrance is blocked?
    Please contact car park management for assistance (the phone number should be on the charger instruction board)
  • What are compatible charging cables/connectors?
    Our charging stations are equipped with Type 2 charging sockets. One end of the charging cable will have to be a Type 2 plug (the other end can be any plug type, such as Type 1 / Type 2 / Tesla or whatever). You might have received a cable during your car purchase. Or you can buy a charging cable on EvGuru app: just tap "More" on the EvGuru app, then "Buy Cable"
  • Can I use the EvGuru charging stations if my car has AC Type 1 standard?
    Yes! All you need is a compatible charging cable, a Type 1 to Type 2 cable, for cars like the Nissan LEAF. You can also buy the Type 1 cable online on our app: just tap "More" on the EvGuru app, then "Buy Cable"
  • What are the power levels of the EvGuru Charging stations?
    Evguru has 7kW to 22kW AC charging points across the network. And DC charging stations range from 30kW to over 200kW.
  • Do higher power levels guarantee faster charging?
    Yes. However, not all vehicles benefit from it. AC charging is limited by the EVs onboard charger (OBC). For example, most full EVs are limited to 11kW, and most PHEVs are restricted to only a 3.7kW OBC.
  • How long does it take to charge?
    The charging time of an AC station depends on 4 main factors: the power level of the charging station, the vehicle’s onboard charger (OBC), the current battery level (also known as the state of charge), and the vehicle’s battery size.   • Is there a time limit for occupying a charging station?
    Time limits vary by site, typically charging stations restrict 2 - 3 hours for each charging session. Please note that idle charges may apply for not moving the vehicle after charging is complete.
  • Can I use the EvGuru charging station in the rain?
    Yes, it is absolutely safe to use the charging station in any weather.
  • Is it safe to plug the cable into the charging station?
    Yes! The charging station has a cable lock, so no one can unplug your cable after the session has started.
  • What should I do if the charging station does not work?

  • What is Minimum Charge Usage?
    If the user doesn't charge to 3kw, it automatically pulls to 3kWh, we still charge for 3kw for electricity usage.
